Event Overview
LARIA supports local government and public sector researchers, helping to promote good practice in research and provide a forum for discussion. This one-day conference is intended to show case the wide range of research being undertaken by public sector researchers in Scotland, to hear about collaborative research with academics and to provide a forum in which to discuss current research issues and concerns. The Scottish Government have also been invited to present their views on wider issues connected with public sector research including the LARCI initiative.
Who should attend?
While the target audience are those engaged in undertaking research in local government, the NHS, the police and other public sector organisations, it is anticipated that the presentations and workshops will be of interest to those outside the public sector, involved in collaborative research, as well as those concerned with public policy-making.
